Channel: Latin American Affairs, EconomicsAmid hopes and anxieties, Spanish oil firm Repsol has finally started exploring Cuba’s offshore oilfields. Last week, the Scarabeo-9 oilrig drilled the first well in deep water, just 50 miles off the coast of Florida.
